Copy Quote

A new action menu item Copy Quote can be found on the following Sales Pipeline Management (SPM) forms to allow a quotation to be copied to a new quotation within SPM:

• SPM Company Processing - Quotes
• SPM My Company - Quotes
• SPM Contact Processing – Quotes
• SPM Contacts My Record – Quotes
• SPM Sales Opportunities - Quotes

When the 'Copy Quote' Action menu item is selected the user is asked if they wish to 'Copy Existing Quote From SOP', if the user selects 'Yes' they are asked to 'Select Quotation No. To Copy'. If the user selects 'No' the currently selected quote in SPM will be copied. If 'No' is selected & no quotation has been selected, the user will be prompted to select a quotation to copy.

After selecting a valid quotation to copy the user will be presented with a message, displaying the Document Number & Quotation Number to be copied.

After selecting "Yes" the user will be presented with a form to enable selection of one or more accounts.

When OK button is pressed, the selected quotation will be used to create a new quotation for each account selected.

The user is then asked "Use Current Prices?", if the user replies 'No' then the prices will be calculated & converted to the customer's currency where appropriate & any special prices will also be calculated.

For each new quotation being created, the user will be prompted to enter additional Sales Pipeline Management (SPM) Quote Details
